HRCBM-Dhaka visited the spot at Manikganj Akul Chandra High School as well as Manikganj Hospital where the victim was taking medical treatment. I have talked with the physician, victim, D.C., S.P. O.C. Manikganj District.

The accused persons surrendered before High Court of Bangladesh on last Saturday and they got bail from the court. It is apprehended that as per version of the victim the accused will be more powerful after getting bail and will threaten the victim in future. The atmosphere of the school premises is very disappointing and administration has got no control over it.
About 50 School Teachers of Manikganj staged demostration and submitted a Memorandum before the Deputy Commissioner of Manikganj but the D.C. seems to be not responding.
